>>107684101>if a gen is popular as a group instead of as individuals they get concerts together. Sankisei, NePoLaBo, the usual DEV_IS charity case. most likely Advent will go the same way because none of their members are standouts musicallyWell if it's JP the gens will get lives as well as other individuals so there isn't often a choice between them if the individual is popular and/or successful enough. Genlives and sololives seem to have a difference precendent, meaning or air around them so I think they're just regarded as "different" if that makes sense. Not sure if I articulated that well enough
>Advent will go the same way because none of their members are standouts musicallyI can see that. Even if (say in the future) FWMC got their own cuz "package deal" and Nerissa was capable of carrying her own sololive, I think it'd be weird for Cover to just leave them out so a gen live if not a triolive (if FWMC get their own) seems more likely as of now for Advent. I think as of now a Justice genlive is most likely. The only way it doesn't is if CC, GG and Raora get a triolive, if they don't just do BloodRaven live and don't want a CCGG duolive to leave Raroa out
>but Myth and Promise aren't like that. the individuals are more popular than the group. they are more like the Yonkiseis of the world who are individual powerhouses but nobody is going around calling themselves a "Yonkisei" fan.Aside from the other points I've already brought up. I think a lot of people who have Promise as they're favorite gen like(d) the members (individually since they don't tend to collab often) also liked them as gen, regardless. More to your point that it's more like "liking all the individuals" rather than "the group" though. That and Advent and Justice actually thought to give their fans of their entire gen a name which just makes that sorta thing easier.
>we STILL have Council supremacists who hate IRyS for crying out loudWhile I haven't seen this in forever, I can still believe it. I strangely used to see more of IRyS being forgotten/left out than actually hated. Not just because of her initially unconventional, harder-to-draw 1,0RyS design either. IRyS being a solo debutant didn't help and often left her forgotten since (and someone actually replied like this to me once) they often think in groups so their minds often just skipped over her. Hence the "& IRyS" meme
Either way I think we can all be certain that IRyS' live is coming in one way or another after Drawn to Dawn. The question is, whether or not it'll be a sololive, duolive, or gen/triolive. We obviously know IRyS and Bae are the most deserving and fully capable of carrying their own sololives after (in the eyes of Cover) Mori anyway. I just feel like Myth is being used as the "testing ground" here before they go all-out with her. Whatever that might look like...
