Sure, Wada model and voice were buffs, but like most people, that stuff is only a good draw. Eventually, you stay for the content.
Her zatsus were really quiet, and she gave off that doomer vibe early. At first I thought “ok, it’s just a character”, and then after a few weeks “well, she was probably genuinely depressed before getting into HoloEN. Here’s hoping being in Council and making new friends helps her depression.”
After several months, I went “nothing personal, I’m just not into her content” and drifted away not out of animosity, but because I just didn’t find her streams compelling enough to click on.
The reason I said all this was that the whole time, I was giving her and everyone else the benefit of the doubt. To me, I thought that surely, everyone who got into HoloEN wanted to be there since there were so many applicants to choose from. Yes, I was naive and didn’t understand the full extent of Omega and EN management’s retardation.
When the whole Tempus shitstorm started up, I thought her response was kind of stupid, but I still assumed she knew what she was doing.
Now that I’m more familiar with the situation and with what Kronii’s content became after I stopped watching her, it’s pretty clear she never knew what she was doing. That’s the only way whoever it was (whether Mori or twitter homobeggars or someone else) managed to convince her that her own fans were schizos or something.
So of course she’s getting such shit numbers and still a doomer even though she finally managed to make enough money to move away from her abusive home situation. There is not a single hire in EN worse than Kronii. Not even Sana, because at least she had the self-awareness to fuck off when it became clear she had no intention of committing to Hololive.
