I'm pretty sure that holos go on inclines when they are horny. I don't think this is because sex sells and people are more likely to tune in, but I think that holos are most powerful when they are horny.

I believe the way to increase your oshis ability/power to make them horny. The best way to do that is to horny post about them on cooldown on stream, on twitter and in these threads.
Compare global during a Gura or Mori stream to global during an Ame stream - teamates love Ame, but they are not quite as horny lately as deadbeats and chumbuds have been.
Check splits too if you want - /ggg/ can get EXTREMELY horny and I believe it gives Gura power. Im still researching but it seems /infinity/ has moved from being horny to being doomers, requires more research
Takos arent horny enough either. Ina has not been on a noticeable incline but has held steady as stable octopus destination (her 3d stream was really good though)
BUT then look at KFP and Saplings - they are the anomaly that makes my theory hard to prove. KFP are horny as fuck, and while Kiara's been doing great, she has not been on a noticeable incline. I suspect its due to timezones and game choices. And as for how horny Kiara's been? I'd say not so horny lately, choosing to marry her cats and all. She did want to marry SIMS Fauna but that seemed less 'horny thirsty birb' and more 'wow look how cute'
Saplings on the other hand dont seem horny to me. they love their oshi without hornyposting and she does very well as a streamer, though her numbers could use a boost (personally I dont really think of Fauna in a horny way, I do think she's great though)
of course I could be mixing up cause and effect, but I talked to myself a few times and I dont think thats it
tl;dr - be more horny to make your oshi more horny to make her evolve into her next form
