>>108116741It's not a permanent site. It's a single HTML file that contains all the data (except for images, which are hotlinked to warosu) from the posts, which makes it possible to download the file and retain it as an offline backup.
Because it's a static file and not a website, it needs to be completely regenerated with every newly-archived thread, to add the new posts. Which is why there's a new link every time (also, catbox doesn't allow permanent HTML files, only temp ones). I'm not usually the baker, so the baker literally can't have the newest link before the thread was made because only I make these files.
Also, I don't prepare the file until the previous thread falls off the board (because sometimes people necropost in the old thread), so even if I was baking, it's too early to prepare the archive.
