There is a reason that Mumei chose the Wolf's Rain ending song as one of her last songs. The ending for that anime is an allegory for a vtuber redebut since
all the dead characters later reincarnate in a different setting. Also Mumei did say that fans would enjoy the lyrics for that One Voice song and it's obvious why she chose that as her final song. Cover never did give her the 1 million subscriber outfit, wouldn't let her use their studio for the graduation live, and they cancelled her nendo despite telling her it would be released. They clearly were upset with Mumei which doesn't make sense if her graduation was only because of health issues.
There have been 7 EN graduations but it was obvious that all of them were on bad terms with management. The EN talents were either fired (Magni and Vesper), didn't have their contracts renewed (Sana), had to use outside contractors to help with their graduations (Ame, Fauna, Mumei), or Cover did the minimum they could get away with delivering (Gura). Almost comical how much Cover hates the EN branch when you consider the average JP graduation. Shion was given a full length 94 minute 3D live even though it's obvious she is also going indie.
