For the most part, the most popular are popular beforehand too. Donald Trump said something one time, he said
>"you never know who will perform well on camera. It almost feels random who will succeed. Sometimes people you thought would be disasters become massive hits, while people who have all the right qualities on paper just don't work when you put them on camera."
Basically the qualities that make a good entertainer are extremely difficult to predict. Nobody really knows why someone is captivating. I mean look at Bob Barker, Keanu Reeves, Bob Ross, Clint Eastwood...etc. Nobody could have predicted they would draw millions, they don't have super outgoing personalities.
Because of that, it seems like the people with those indefinable qualities are usually successful beforehand too, because they magnetically attract people in.
So what I mean is, if HoloEN ever wants to "strike gold", they would be better served approaching people who are popular beforehand, rather than rolling the dice on 2views every time. The problem with doing that is the "movie star effect", those people will not accept poor treatment and will tend to act like divas, willing to leave the company if they feel like it.
To keep them from leaving Holo would need to take a different approach to management. Also they might try something like the Phase Invaders program which was an enormous success for Phase.
