>>107926615Ngl, I can see where the fans from the JP side are coming from (I am kinda in the same boat as the fans on the JP side). Ever since the start of 2024 to now, there has been more and more bad news after bad news coming from Cover Corp, moreso than the good news coming from them.
Mel and Gamma's termination, mass graduation of a lot of talents (especially a bunch of big name ones) with A-chan and Nodoka's departure, the massive issue with the studio they bought but struggle to get the staff needed to use it (was explained by Towa last year with Astel iirc), those two major incidents with Regis and Ina that almost ended with them quitting Holostars and Hololive respectively, issues with artist payment, Ririka's current artist, that last and very concerning stream with Akai Haato that resulted in her going on indefinite haitus, Kanata's graduation and why almost no one in the company knew about it until she announced it, etc.
It's pretty hard not to get disillusioned and frustrated when it just keeps coming with no end in sight. And honestly, I don't know if these series of bad news will ever stop by next year.
