Problem there is that A) Most Homos have a lot less money to spend on things like that and B) the higher ups are going to think twice before giving one of their much sought after studio slots to a Homo if there's a conflict with a Holo project that will get them ten times as much revenue.
Astel talked about the whole pooling shit quite extensively since he really wanted to do more gen-/branchwide 3D events and according to him, at least on the JP side, there's just no real interest in it anymore. Big 3D concerts are a shitload of work and a massive monetary investment, if not everyone is fully on board they won't happen.
