3d lives are never "live" unless the talent clearly states differently (which in Stars amounts to Rio and Astel).
For Everglow, the audio (both talking segments and songs) was pre-recorded and the models were skinwalked. If the difference in audio quality, no overlapping voices and the models trying to match what's being said with PS2-like exaggerated movements aren't evidence enough, at no point in time were all the EN members physically in one place to be able to record together. You could argue that the (solo) dances could have been the boys sending in their own dance performances, it would be difficult to disprove, but at that point it's doubtful that a production company would go through the trouble when they already have skinwalkers ready to use. All in all, it's literally the same setup as the last "concert", but with more effort put into the surroundings. This is the reason why some of the boys forgot Everglow is even a thing, their own input was most likely limited to sending in voice lines / songs and deciding on their outfit colors, even if some might try to keep up the kayfabe and talk about how hard they practiced for it in their next zatsu.
And just for the record, StarsJP has used MMD and skinwalking in their lives before as well. It just wasn't as noticeable so it flew under the radar for most of the (western) fanbase.
