If you engage in a long, off-topic discussion then technically you are breaking the rules even if in practice it's usually not enforced most of the time especially when it doesn't go too far. There's always some assumption of risk if you're doing that, which increases if the situation devolves into an argument. So if you want to be 100% safe you don't talk about anything but vtubers and streams I guess, ideally Kiki and Kiki streams since this is her thread.
Am I saying champ was in the wrong? Not really. But I do think the idea that posting without risking getting banned is impossible is a bit silly. You're not going to get banned for making on-topic posts that don't violate any other rule, or at least you shouldn't be...
