I've watched like over 20 streamers play Kakarot and it's insane to me how these people who play videogames for a living never pick up on three things:
1. Every so often an enemy will do a "Get off me" attack which is indicated by them being surrounded with a red aura while charging an attack for about 3 seconds which will knock them back and stun them. You can respond to this by blocking, a timed Burst, a perfect dodge, or by simply getting very far away.
2. A boss will have a close-up where they power up and gain a constant red aura. This means they will have super armor for a long duration and you're supposed to be on the defensive and trying to attack into them is ill-advised unless you have the damage to finish the fight.
3. When a boss does the close-up and starts charging an energy attack, there is a game text that helpfully says "Go on the offensive and interrupt the attack!" you're supposed to attack and deplete the meter that appears on the boss, which will interrupt the attack and trigger a special follow-up that deals massive damage to the boss. Somehow, about half the streamers don't understand what this prompt means and will continue to attempt to dodge the attack instead.
Kakarot isn't the most well-crafted game by any means and its tutorial is extremely barebones and barely explains anything about the gameplay but it's amazing to see how many streamers have a complete lack of game sense.
