A mix of BVTM stirring up shit as he usually does, plus the inflammatory language used by the admin of the discord server. BVTM's post wouldn't have spread so much if it weren't for the fact some in that discord weren't acting and talking like faggots - they can deflect to it just being phasefags complaining (and I'm sure that is a lot of it - quite a few of the twitter accounts responding are obvious phasefags) but there are some well established brats and holofans who were also pissed off about the way things were phrased. They need to take the L, and in particular not raid fucking /vt/ as though that's going to help rather than just stir up even more shit.
