In the end, people click on videos and FOTM will always get more than whatever childhood variety game the streamer actually enjoys.
If you want numbers, you have 3 options.
1. FOTM
2. Collabs
3. Absolutely disgusting amounts of advertisement. A corpo usually handles this one for a streamer.
Any time you stray from this, your numbers will decline, and the longer they decline, the more difficult it will be to bring them back up until you build up enough momentum again through more FOTM.
