In Korea, Samsung isn't just another company, it's their fuedal lord. Everyone nows and kneels, and talks about how amazing the Samsung family is. Asian people have low testosterone so they are naturally obedient. They follow rules and do what they're told. They are ancestor-worshipers who are suckers for things that are old, or who claim some sort of 'legendary history', like Nijisanji does by claiming to be the first to do x, y, z.
In other words, the corporation becomes their *identity*. They don't have a strong religious or national identity, so they get super into manga and worship a mangaka, or a corporate brand name instead.
