They won't ever fire you unless you try to damage the company already shady reputation, hence Selen hence Gundou, unless it's public they will just privately punish you and leave it there.
My personal rrat is that upper management got mad at the waste of resources she was (the cost of the design and model) and wanted to discourage people to leave after so little time (Yugo lasted like a year at least, enough to cover the costs) and more or less spin the narrative towards ' we're a good company and people only leave after they fail as talents and workers' which didn't work for the most part but a lot of fans eat it up to this day.
