That sounds like a good idea, but I don't have a VPM

Turns out I think I had the wrong script.
If you search google for "YTBetter" you get the wrong one.
The correct one is named "YTBetter - Enable Rewind/DVR". It lets you pause the stream so that it's no longer "live". If you resume it after 10 seconds, you get a buffer free experience with a little delay.

the stream doesnt have dvr on, so cant clip. the best is using ytbetter script which lets you go back in a stream even if it doesnt have dvr on

Does anyone know why Rissa's streams have like a 20 second delay on them? It's been happening recently, it happened yesterday too, and it's only her streams. Both today and yesterday I watched Rissa and Fuwamoco at the same time, and only her stream is delayed. If I use 2x to speed it up, it sometimes works and sometimes stops and then goes back 15 seconds. Eventually the delay will return. Today I am using Holodex Multiview but yesterday I was watching both streams in separate tabs. Again it only happens with Nerissa's streams and I can't figure out why. I don't have DVR script or anything else turned on besides Ublock Origin.

If you need to ask, then you likely don't have it.
It's a script that toggles back on the DVR feature on livestream which means you can go back to earlier points of the stream. Most streamers/Holos turn this off for whatever reasons.
.66 to 4 seconds is fine and normal. The stream is uploaded to you in chunks like that so the stream can cope with minor hiccups. If you check out Aqua's streams they're usually delayed by like 20 seconds which you can also catch up by doing the x2 speed trick. The small delay is dependent on settings the streamers use. Just to clarify, this won't get you past actual stream delays they might add on their end.

Are you using the DVR script?
Right click the video and click "Stats for nerds"
What is your buffer health at? Mine is at 80 seconds behind because I have the DVR script and paused it. The closer to 0, the closer to being LIVE you are. Sometimes the DVR script will cause you to fall behind when the stream has a hiccup either due to her or youtube lagging. Check this every now and then.

I hate that about livestreams. The only ones I actually pay attention to are Gura's, everyone else I peek over if I notice them doing something interesting. The dvr script has been a godsend for this.
