>>4412263I don't really know much about youtube's streamer culture outside of hololive but hololive, cover, idols, and japanese culture are distinctly different from most western entertainment and comes with different expectations on how to behave. I know nobody reads the rules but every holo video lists some fairly strict rules and etiquette to follow and that probably sets the tone to a degree. On twitch, there is a cultural expectation to disrupt other streamers and spam gay shit in their chat with "raids", which is effective for cross promotion but also really faggy and annoying.
