picked up on that too huh? while one can say it's the yaoi tumblr ace stuff, I, while also having a single and unreliable parent, think it might be from having to 'man up' and desensitize from the 'icky' stuff of being an adult. so if she had to deal with gigimama and her antics with men, I can understand why she wouldn't want to turn up the sex appeal if it meant being like her mother.
