You have to cater to the internet culture of a new market when you expand internationally, mostly because the internet is how media spreads these days. EN doesn’t have that many weebs, but it does have a developed streaming culture. So EN vtubing’s audience is basically anybody who watches streams who isn’t filtered by the anime avatar.
That’s one of the issues facing HoloEN. The only real unityfag selling point went away when they introduced males because everybody who isn’t a full-on homobeggar treats the males as sort of a side branch, and trying to include them as part of “HoloPro” unity just makes the old audience unenthusiastic.
