Kobo's music does well, so her getting the nod for a project like that isn't too surprising, although I wonder if Cover shilled her for it or if somehow she got requested? The latter idea doesn't really make sense to me but maybe I underestimate how much she's known in JP.
I think Cover considers her important to their international expansion as their "blue woman" for ID which also makes sense, she's their best candidate as a face for the branch
