-Gura got early debut buff as first gen of Holo EN
-there is already a Gura-like vtuber in Zeta's gen (Kobo)
-she doesn't sing much karaoke, maybe one public karaoke a year
-she has ESL debuff, she has to try to be entertaining in language other than her native one, and Gura was especially verbose and witty and among EN vtubers
-her collabs with genmates are in Indonesian mostly, which has smaller audience
-she doesn't do much content that would make full use of her cute voice, like ASMR or karaoke. For example Minecraft streams would be perfect content for her since she could just talk about random stuff while gaming, but sadly she gets motion sick from the game...
-she usually doesn't play popular games, she didn't even play games much before joining Hololive
-her streams are on the shorter side and her timeslot has been all over the place lately
Even so I switched oshi from Gura to Zeta a few years ago because she is more chill and streams regularly without taking long breaks. And I wouldn't say Zeta is very underrated. There aren't that many vtubers who can reach 1 million subscribers. She could be more popular if she did ASMR and karaoke monthly, but that isn't her thing.
