>>93048704>>93048997On the Kuu thing specifically: I don't know nor am I trying to argue how coordinated it was, but discussion surrounding her seemed to be very aggressively tailored to making her popular /here/ specifically, to the point where that the way they were characterizing her was a complete antithesis to how she actually was, but she was given qualities that made her more palatable to /lig/. The most egregious of those characterizations being the gender thing, where Kuu, an openly non-binary person using they/them pronouns, was being touted as a cisgender woman, with her fans here openly lashing out and sperging at anyone pointing out Kuu's preferred gender to the point where they empowered the circumschizo to spam her DMs and get her to retreat back inside of her "egg". That is, to hide the fact that she was non-binary and remove that information from her Twitch profile.
It's that situation specifically that gives credence to the whole astroturfing thing, as insane as the idea may sound.
