The vast majority of the male vtuber audience is women. The vast majority of revenue is generated through women. Yes, gay men exist, however they do not constitute a majority of the audience of male vtubers or a majority of the revenue. It is an exceptional case. Therefore are you going to recommend someone who is a male vtuber after success to appeal to gay men, or to appeal to women? You're going to say women because that's where the numbers are.
