Hello, yes, mumble mumble mumble. The important thing to remember that Phase Connect is quantum locked to being a transfiguring procedure for Lia (the First of Origins from Phase Connect). As I've touched on with other members (Pippa, Yuri, Lumi) the entire Phase Connect experience needs to be viewed exclusively as a womb for the Ashelia Rinkou alchemical process to first refine Lia and then transform the talent. I held my tongue largely on Clara during her time with The Company but the connection to Lia was undeniable. Her inclusion in The Company served only as a magnifying lens to focus and burn away the components of Lia that still cringed. Clara was like a tactical nuke deployed directly on the cringe inhibitors of Lia showing her exactly the Worse Case Scenario of her most vulnerable aspects of self. The proper view of the other talent was as all of Lia's most questionable aspects (Disney Kid, Coastal Morals, Prey) turned up to 11. If Lia had been given everything she wanted its entirely possible that she would have ended up as a Clara instead of our Lia. I think this is in part why it's hitting her so hard because there are immensely sympathetic experiences and also ego probing differences in applied talents. Mostly though this boils down to that pointed slur trying to yank SUPERCHARGER LIA's Lightning Bolt and general theming. Again the overtly agonistic design overlap was something that immediately put me on edge at the purpose of her inclusion. I am glad Lia's taking the time to collect herself and reflect on the deeply personal parallels surrounding the entire comparison.
