So, interesting thing that Mei said on stream yesterday 1:57:20 as the timestamp. I'm just gonna note down what she said for posterity's sake.
"I had a lot of stuff happen, and you know, the hard part from my streaming stuff that I don't usually talk about is that there's stuff I absolutely can't say to nobody."
"And it's not like- Well, I can say some stuff, but like even to my close friends, I can't bring it up because it causes drama, right?"
"So if there's stuff that I would talk to family about, I can't do that" (Mei is an orphan)
"You know, cause like, I had a really hard year last year, and I can't bring up any reason why because it would cause drama. It would upset people, you know?"
"And I get it. And it's not like anybody's fault. And if I said anything, it wouldn't be like, anybody's fault, it's just how it is."
"And I like, I kinda hint at it from time to time but I feel like I got forgotten a lot, or that I get forgotten a lot, and it sucks, but like, I can't talk about things, you know? It'd cause drama and things like that, so..."
"You know? Just know that you guys mean a lot to me. You guys helped me a lot last year, because if it wasn't for you guys, I probably would have had a colossal crashout, and get upset."
"But you know, a lot of things happened to me last year, and none of it easy. Well, a lot of good happened, but I also had a tremendous amount of bad happen and... People suck man, that's all I'm gonna say. You know? People suck."
It sounds to me, that according to Mei's own opinion on the matter, the people that slighted her last year haven't been properly exposed in her view, and that she can't talk about it with her friends, because it would force a bunch of drama back into the spotlight.
I could imagine Froggy would be someone who might not be informed on things, despite it being Mei's wishes, and that information regarding the fight with Ari and her maltreatment (from Mei's view) of Mei might be the things capable of starting drama.
Mei might also be not bringing this up in order to not force Zen to have to endure more bullshit, given that Zen is quite traumatized and jaded from all that stuff by now.
