Essentially i wanna write stuff for /hag/, not sure where yet but they are meant to be in a barren land that does not offer many resources, men are all sent to the army at a certain age, with the army majorily acting outside the nation as mercenaries to earn money to counteract the lack of resources, meanwhile the women get a second kind of puberty around their 30-40s which makes them extra fertile, this of course also happens in the time window where their sons just reach manhood themselves, leading to them often being tempted by their own mothers, leading to a lot of incest.
It is even speculated that women developed this second form of puberty for this exact reason
I did not come up with a real reason as to why they got animal features but in folklore it was said that women from /hag/ used to be so fertile they could mate with anything
