>>108238435I don't have my hopes up personally, but admittedly a direct invitation might get some threads in here than what I was doing (the three generals I reached out to, /HAHA/, Tower!/uuu/, and the Haachama thread, had an overall "good luck with that" tone when I consulted them for lore feedback, but since I was asking for feedback and not overtly inviting them to participate that may have been a factor in retrospect). If you do follow through with it, one suggestion I'd like to make is to let them know immediately that the worldmap isn't the one from the start and it's a "wherever you want to be" system. The Dragoons at least were under the assumption we were still using the Vitubia map before I clarified it in a follow-up post.
I do think we may be able to get at least a new map placement or two if one or some of us reached out and just asked, but I'm not sure if any of us going on a "hey do you want to place your thread in /vtwbg/" campaign would be a good idea as that might get the relevant posters flagged for spamming and/or advertising.
If it's just one thread, though, and most of us /here/ are on board with it, then I suppose I don't see a problem with it if the invite was provided here for feedback first. Then again, that's what I would do, and you're not me. I ultimately will have your back here and give my personal thumbs up to the idea, just keep in mind that (unless you count that guy from the previous thread) I'm the one who's been here the least and therefore has the least authority on the matter.
