>>97171272Stock Watch anon here, time for the Anycolor Q3 2025 financial report. As always, I encourage you to read it yourself/also get opinions/analysis elsewhere from people more qualified than I am. I just do this as a hobby.
We're gonna go though this section by section, however parts of the presentation have been omitted here due to irrelevance and being just a rehash on what the Company does/do. I'll do a EN focused section in the end since that's also a prime interest.
FINANCIAL RESULTS
Anycolor sees record revenue as they see 11.5 Billion yen for their 3rd Quarter, smashing their 9.4-9.9 forecast they made. They also beat their net profit forecast by a OK amount, seeing 2.9 Billion yen in revenue to beat the 2.4-2.6 forecast, however they did miss their profit margin forecast as they got a 25.1% rather than 25.7%-26.4%. Very encouraging results, especially considering that NijiJP could've easily done it on their own since they contributed 10.9 Billion this quarter.
Checking their revenue by business area, Commerce (Merchandising essentially) continues to be their bulwark with 7.2 billion this quarter, Events also saw a massive jump to 1.4 billion yen like in part to the Music Festival in December. Live Streaming numbers stayed relatively stable with just barely 1.3 billion yen in revenue, Promotion (I'm assuming sponsors and such) did see a slight decrease but are still within reason at 1.6 Billion. This is for the much the norm outside of the Event's revenue, but the Music Festival is the reason for that number in events.
On the employee front, there were no debuts/graduations throughout their talents save for presumably Victoria Brightshield of NijiEN in early November. And their number of employees overall have gone from 493 last quarter to 506 this quarter.
Lastly, Anycolor did a forecast revision for the year overall. Doing roughly a 4% increase for Revenue and 2% increase for net profit respectively.
Q4 OUTLOOK
Q4 Has big shoes to fill, as Anycolor's forecast sets them up to break their revenue records with expectations of at least 11.8-12.8 in revenue for that quarter. As well as expecting 3-3.35 Billion yen in profit for their forecast. They have highlighted initiatives that are happening or have already occurred, notably NijiFes and Anniversary merch. Interestingly, no direct sighting of NijiEN here again.
A LOOK INTO NIJISANJI ENGLISH
As usual, NijiEN continues to be ignored in these reports outside of the Revenue by Business Area / Group. To my surprise however, Q3 locks in as NijiEN's worst performance for this fiscal year at a meager 608 Million yen in revenue. Every avenue of revenue overall saw a decrease, Livestreaming still stagnant and declining at 169 Million yen, Commerce saw a 100+ drop compared to last quarter for 374 Million yen in revenue in this quarter, and most surprising in my opinion was Promotion revenue was nearly cut in HALF to just 65 Million yen this quarter.
NijiJP could've easily carried this alone with just their 10.9 Billion in revenue, and it’s very possible that even if NijiEN is still profitable somehow that they’re fall in revenue also resulted in them missing their profit margin forecast. And considering we’re getting 4 new members, the costs for EN will only rise. Personally, I don’t think we’re gonna see any merger announcements especially now that we’re so close to the end of the fiscal year. However, I think if they can’t turn it around, the Sword of Damocles will finally sever the branch.
OVERALL
NijiEN failings aside, it can’t be denied that Anycolor outdid themselves thoroughly. I think Q4 with NijiFes in the equation will meet those high expectations. From what I see in the YahooJP board, reception has been relatively positive and I expect their performance in the market tomorrow to reflect that.
Anyway, that’s all from me tonight. I’ll see you tomorrow.
