IIRC what the saplings decided at the time was to give it a few weeks to still call it the Nimi and Fauna thread, then remove Fauna and reconsider renaming the thread at that date. (They chose not to.)
The messiest transition though was Dooby's. They're as indecisive as their oshi so they just decided to go half and half. I'd imagine whenever Dooby fucking names them they'll be able to move on and remove her from the OP. Either that or they just decide it at the 1 year mark or something.
In /who/'s case, the hoomans formed a bit of a tight community. The fan discord is staying up too and will probably become a generic group discord over time unless notMumei decides to start doing things. I'm curious if they'll rename it in that case.
