No, her pl account was innactive 2 years ago but you know when that changed? Selen's termination (yeah, I bring her up because they are friends publically). I wouldn't be surprised that that whole fiasco was a wake up call to some corpo vtubers, that it is always good to have a plan B, in case everything goes south, it seems obvious but maybe it wasn't so much for mumei, and even more now after Mel's termination.
I'm NOT saying cover is like nijien, fuck no, but I think giventhe current situation it makes sense to have an alternate accound specially if mumei still needs money.
Now like other anons said, kronii and nerissa's alternate accounts released some music last year and the same applies to other JP's, maybe this mumei just wanting to release something that she can't because of cover perms for those people who "KNOWS".
Also the "may not see the light of day part" might be on purpose for peope, tonot freak out and think this is something serious.
Anyway, I wanted to say this and leave it there, I also want to move on from this topic.
