For example, Nimi's debut merch is still very slowly being processed because her merch manufacturer / provider (Ohmonah) could only handle and prepared for hundreds units. Meanwhile Kronii just S/O thousands of her limited merch on top of an unknown (usually similar or more) amount of non-limited merch.
It's just a lot more of a headache to deal with large scale merch (by "large scale" I meant merch in the range of thousand(s) units per wave, not few dozens / hundreds) as indie. Even Kson with all her connections still flat out said she joined VShojo because her merch attempts as indies failed (more accurately, didn't make as much as she thought because providers charged her way more than what she expected)
