Debuts are rare enough and the circumstances around them different enough that they can't possibly have sound conclusions about the impact of a no overlap rule. Just because Tempus, for instance, may have gotten big numbers with no EN overlap (I don't recall whether they were overlapped, but I think they weren't?), doesn't mean that the principle will apply to StarsJP. You could argue that StarsEN was always going to get bigger views because it's a whole new branch, had dramabait potential, people were curious about how it would work or if the talents would be good, etc.
