Youtube deletes videos and channels for the dumbest reasons, sometimes because one of their bots made a mistake.
Hosting sites (like 1fichier) shutdown or delete stuff after x amount of time.
In the past, when all failed you could just upload everything to the internet archive because of how reliable was it for archiving files forever. But even they are getting forced to delete stuff some random third party decided was infringing on their copyright.
So if your oshi had a song for 2 minutes a random decides to report because of copyright reasons, the entire VOD or collection would be wiped out.
TL;DR: Unless it's on your physical HDD, your oshi VODs are not really safely backed up.
