>>78084226>Doki's never said anything about Nijisanji.Yeah, she said the bullies were her coworkers in her legal document. It's been crystal clear who the bad guys were since Day 1. The reason she got fired instead of them is because she made herself a liability by publically saying she had enough and wasn't going to keep quiet anymore.
The clique wouldn't have been the only ones to get fired. Nijisanji management has always been very "hands-off", but that only works for the main branch because they don't have any language or cultural barriers in the way. EN management took the exact same approach to handling things as the main branch did, but they relied entirely on the one bitch in the branch who could speak Japanese to keep tabs on everything and just trusted her not to turn corrupt. If Doki publically came out with what goes on inside NijiEN, not only would it look bad for a lot of talents, but EN management as well. So EN management fired her in a vain attempt to keep this from reaching the CEO's ear. Of course, that backfired completely, but it also put Anycolor in a very bad position. Firing the guilty parties and incompetent staff would be an admission of guilt, which would leave them open to a lawsuit, which would look MUCH worse than what should have been just a passing (if particularly ugly) controversy. It's like if your kid breaks a neighbor's window, but the glass shards flew everywhere and killed a bunch of people. Assuming responsiblity might be the right thing to do, but it's not the smart thing to do. Anycolor had to choose between firing the jackasses, apologizing, and just hoping Doki didn't sue them, or siding with the jackasses and smearing Doki to protect the company as a whole. I don't like it, the whole thing could have been handled much better in private, but I understand why Anycolor did what they did.
tl;dr Fuck NijiEN. Prune the branch.
