Hello liggermen It's that time of the month were we take a look at the top 25 for January 2025. As usual these stats are total average CCV and the sources are Twitchtracker for twitch side and playboard for youtube side. In the cases of liggers who stream on both youtube and twitch, i take both CCV numbers and average them out in an averaging calculator. I also remove flesh streams that I catch from the numbers manually and calculate it out using the averaging calculator as well. This month we have one person who was disqualified for not meeting the minimum streaming requirement (3 streams): Anny, who did one stream last month (4,792 ccv). All of that said, here is the numbers.

Notes:
>Nimi Nightmare makes her indie debut and her debut atop the numbers. She had an impressive 21,853 ccv debut month. Expect this number to trend downwards and level out, but even as it does she's likely to be a top 5 Liggers going forward.
>Overall the numbers are down across the board. In my time tracking the numbers Mid January to late February has always been a total viewership deadzone, and this makes 3 years running that this has rung true, both at the top 25 level and at the mid size/small ligger levels. At this time of year the best you can hope for is treading water and keeping as close as you can to your average viewership until spring break hits and people have more time to watch streams.
>Camila and Buffpup are notable exceptions this month, with Camila being up 20% and Buffpup being up 17%. In Camila's case she did a few event streams including a shock collar stream that really pumped up her numbers. With Buffpup she surprisingly really got into Marvel Rivals and category viewers who saw her playing the game decided to start sticking around, similar to what happened with Dokibird last month. Marvel Rivals is a pretty decent buff game at the current moment.
>Kirsche was a notable up this month despite not cracking the top 25. Her youtube and Twitch combined and averaged out hit her at 1,502 ccv with the twitch numbers being a 20% viewership swing upward. A lot of that is due to the nature of her content as well as people checking in when she got into that bit of drama. She seems to do better numbers wise when political related stuff is going down, so it will be interesting to see how the rest of the year goes for her viewership wise as things start settling into a new political regime in the US.
>Post-Vtuber Awards Filian took a 23% viewership downfall. A lot has been made about her trending downwards, however there's an explanation: the nature of her audience is mostly people who are younger and thus are in high school or college, and once schools are in they spend less time watching her outside of the die hards. This may sound like making excuses, however Filian had this exact same content dip last year after September until about March, and this years matches it almost 1 to 1. Last year she took a 15% viewership dip from December to February, and so far this year it's looking like a 11% dip in that same time frame. A reasonable expectation will be her probably being down until spring then bouncing back hard, same as last year.
