Sorta....? I played like almost of the GOTY nominee and I'd say it's easily the most memorable out of the bunch. Story is stellar. Gameplay wise I'd say it's fine but not as engaging as Silksong. Artstyle is meh, I'd say Silksong and Hades 2 has better artstyle. But the voice acting and music are very good. So I'd say it wins just by how meh the others are

I dont play new games because everything comes out broken and unfinished then spends the next 2 years doing monthly patches that break your saves etc. On that note probably silksong, then rance 4.2, then maybe the bannerlord xpac wont be broken anymore, then maybe that anno game or eu5 or something depends on if they're broken or not

to be fair I think I feel worse for silksong after all this time.
Always feels a bit bad when something sweeps everything against other games that are actually great (for once) too but I simp for e33 until I die. I'm just glad there are other good choices this year.

Nearly every battle/boss theme in Silksong is pretty much a straight upgrade from every other equivalent in Hollow Knight. Really it's just Act 1 area songs that are mid as fuck, after Act 2 it's banger after banger.
