Sodapoppin's trauma with his fanbase is mostly self-inflicted. Really early on in his streaming career he would give out his address and let viewers come to his house and play games with him. One guy drove eight hours to his house with the belief that he could live with Sodapoppin. He invited the guy in for a bit just to be nice but when it came time to kick the guy out he wouldn't leave for days and recorded himself going through Soda's things while he was out of the house. This guy is dubbed "The Creature" in Sodapoppin's community and he's still so traumatized from that experience that over a decade later Soda ran into The Creature at a convention and Soda couldn't even physically look at him. The Creature wanted to talk to him but Soda turned away, covered his eyes and just started yelling at him to leave
