>>95893957>>95894017diversifying platforms/revenue streams is good and smart, since all the relevant platforms (patreon, twitch, youtube here) all take turns being schizo retards who take turns fucking over people at random. there are two problems with this and brave's other implementations of it, though. the first is making stuff a mess with unnecessary tiers and perks that make stuff seem more confusing/involved than what it really is, like in tonya's case here youtube only needs a basic emote only tier for spamming light sticks during karaoke, but I guess there are people that would be genuinely butthurt about losing their membership streaks, so that excuse treads on thin ice. the second problem is the pricing, as usual, because unless you're going menace tier hard on GFE/coom, a lot of potential new fans/gachikoi are going to see $20 for all content + $6 for emotes and turn right around. set a better balance between milking fans and getting new ones, you doofuses.
the other aspect of splitting content makes sense though. keeping buff content that's more likely to get picked up by the algo on youtube, keeping everything else on twitch, and making a dumping ground youtube for the twitch vods so you don't have to worry about poisoning your main channel with underperforming streams.
