Before trump's shills try to throw the soldiers under the bus, this has nothing to do with them being poorly trained or whatever excuses being put out, it has to do with the soldiers not being interested in being used as props by the admin. The Veteran Day parade was about honoring the troops, trump's birthday parade was about honoring him, so don't be shocked that soldiers involved in trump's birthday parade would do the absolute bare minimum.

I was only a Nijisanji fan because they were the only widely-known corpo that had EN male vtubers, but I had actually grown to like them. So I didn't want to believe what shiposters say about the livers. I didn't want to follow the narrative that they're some evil people hell bent on ruining everything people in this hobby hold dear. Some of them have like Kyo and maybe a few others, but I know that's not what all of them are like. They either start the drama, make themselves a part of it, do really dumb shit that creates drama around it, and they almost never own up to any of it. And then the fanbase can never take any criticism or accountability for how bad things get. The coddling genuinely makes me sick.This isn't even just about Vanta's recent situation, or how Vox treated his fans, or how Wilson threw some of his fans under the bus, how the girls are malicious/have ulterior motives when they say do what they do or say what they say about the boys' fans, or anything else I may have missed. It's a combination of all that, enabling more of that behavior, and how the fans will get vicious if you dare criticize or blame Nijisanji or any of the livers for anything. I know I can ignore the fandom but part of the fun of vtubers is the fan interaction and integration. And the fans will always reflect the oshi, so they exhibit parts of their behavior as well, albeit in lesser amounts. I hate it. I never want to become a nijisanji anti and I will always stay firm in believing they are the scum of the universe for the things they do. I will never stoop down to their cesspool levels. But sometime you have to realize a broken clock is right twice a day, but no one ever wants to acknowledge it. I don't like being proof that "sisters are done with niji after their fuck ups so they moved to this other corpo," but I still love vtubers dearly and want to watch them, and a different company really is a lot better than them to me. They've reignited my love for vtubers and I've had so much more fun watching them than my time with niji. I still love some of the boys at niji and I cherish my memories. I don't think I'll ever fully leave because I like having lots of streams to watch and I genuinely still enjoy watching them sometimes. But I think I will work on not getting attached so much anymore. I'm menhera as fuck and need something, someone, anything to attach myself to so I can distract myself from bad thoughts, because fuck do I have a lot of them. Sure they spawn great ideas, but it's not fun being this mentally ill all the time and vtubers are the only thing I have that I can let loose with outside of work and work friends where I have to pretend to be a well-put together human being. So I'm glad I finally have that opportunity to do so with a lot less worry with who I watch now. Maybe I should follow the advice to only watch niji boys so I can draw porn of them. Not having as much attachment to them will be better for my mental health in the long run.
