You CHOSE to financially support these women, despite consciously knowing that you'll never have a chance of truly winning their affections. You're practically saying that you lack the self-determination not to pull out your wallet and donate otherwise.
Secondly, you're really misconstruing her words here. What she said was born out of honesty, not dishonesty. Fans are not friends. There can be some overlap in the case of personal friends who are fans, but 99% of the time this is not the case. I'm a fan of Ryan Gosling, but I can't just call him up and go bowling with him because we're not friends.
This is the same case with Fauna. It's actually admirable that she decided to be open with her fans this way.
