>>54876022True, she made a few self-referential comments in debut that pointed towards her being aware of expectations, but then she proceeded to be completely vanilla and boring in debut. Combined with her voice not fitting the model, everyone was expecting the worst that she would be completely boring and "safe". Instead, we got a legit menhera with daddy issues, tons of fetishes, and a parasocial bond with her audience, while also playing into saviorfags that will become her paypigs.
Sure, her homo collab whistling was certainly questionable (and yet to be addressed), but I would assume a significant portion of the hate was also tangential to how disappointing everything else was. If anything, her evidently being /here/, probably spending all night crying about her failed debut, and bouncing back with one of the greatest turnaround streams we've seen shows that she's certainly willing to pander to the audience (insert Akane Kurokawa comparisons here). Assuming she's taken all the "correction" to heart and doesn't want to burn down all the goodwill she's accumulated, I can see her not wanting to risk everything by pandering to homo collabs and her vshitshow orbiter indie friends knowing the backlash she'll get.
I know my definition of "change" probably has more to do with her personality and unleashing her autism and /here/ powerlevels, compared to trying to self-censor and sanitize her content. We always knew she had signs of being a completely unhinged degenerate based on her past content as an indie (again...the girl literally reads full on guro hentai, nuff said). The main concern is that she would have to play into the stereotype of being a corporate-safe "quirky" girl, rather than the broken menhera goth GF we wanted. It's one thing for her to crack a joke about it and pander a bit to that audience in a twitter post, but it's another for her to completely go unhinged and spend 2hrs talking about random tangents and putting her autism on full display.
>My rrat is that she was forced into going "le quirky girl" but mostly vanilla by Cover for her debut, saw herself getting absolutely demolished by haters /here/ who called her a waste of a slot, and ultimately said "fuck it, time to reveal my menhera".>Think about it, first half of today's stream showed off her autism levels, which was certainly endearing to a small portion of fanbase while being horribly boring for most. Imagine if the "autistic jumping from topic to topic" was a ruse, and she knew exactly what she was doing: saving her numbers by not-very-subtly dogwhistling to her more degenerate and autistic interests, which will have the biggest gachikois. Pandering to fetishes like ryona, loli, and even /ringo/ and /meat/ of all things, appealing to GFE, demonstrating willingness to do ecchi content such as shower ASMR, and even appealing to saviorfags from her harsh childhood.
