My taste is a mix of "too vanilla to be interesting" while also "too niche to be done by most". Small to medium boobs, fairly fit, positive or smug expressions, wholesome, sometimes revealing, mostly vanilla sex stands or acts. This is the 'boring' stuff. Then I love tummies, not really muscly nor beeg, so fairly fit to soft chub OR I want them cumflated or pregnant, but not just full term, all stages of pregnancy. But doing justice to a kink you don't have is hard. Even many with the pregkink focus on (near) full term.
A whole other problem is the lack of a well organised archive for VTAI gens so non-genners can find them through tags. Requests, characters, poses get described hundreds of ways. Many fulfillments don't quote the request, just reply a link. Unsearchable. JellyAnon's one of my favorite genners (please do more), but if someone were to want to find back Jelly and MariMari laying on the bed after sex from 2 months ago that's a time sink. I'm convinced I'm missing some of the gens myself even.
I'm not into every artist mix either, but that's also reason to repeat a request. It's great when one request gets fulfilled by a couple different genners and includes variants from the start for that reason.
People using litter needlessly set themselves and others up to keep doing the same stuff. Some of it is litter for good reason, but not all. Apparently I didn't see a single Maririn litter link this year while various happened?
Main catbox links get purged too. I found out recently all the Kitanya albums from (half) a year ago have been purged. NTA but I still didn't save them, didn't expect the purge. So now I want repeat gens from another anon as these are all dead.

You can't really change people. Some of us like the vanilla, the "boring" stuff and just have no interest in Gigi singing in a Target while there's sausages from the meat section hanging from her vagina she's hoping nobody notices her taking with by singing her way out the store. That'd be interesting and funny though. Anyway, you can only really affect yourself. As the anon said: want more interesting gens? Be the change you want to see. Inspiration can come from elsewhere. And once something comes to you, perhaps dig into it rather than one and done.
