RP servers.
RP servers in order to be fun, and enjoyable need several things in play.
First of all: a character sheet.
With a character sheet you have an idea of who the character is that's meant to be being role played. By having a character sheet available you can understand the strengths, and weaknesses each character might be experiencing. A character sheet can also be a guide line to the role player when they are navigating the game, and trying to make accurate decisions that would best reflect the character they are trying to roleplay. It would probably be best that each player on a roleplay server have a character sheet available that can be accessed, and viewed to better give players an idea of how to engage with them in roleplay.
Secondly: world building is helpful. Just like each character has a character sheet it can be helpful to give the world a sheet to explain the setting, the locations, and the elements that make the world what the world is. By having a resource like this available it can better help each player immerse themselves in the the world you'll be playing in, and perhaps even better immerse them in the role of the character they'll be playing as during the session.
Thirdly: it can be helpful to give the players a general objective in the world they'll be playing in.
By having a general objective available to the players it gives them something to achieve that can strive for so they aren't endlessly grinding for the sake of grinding. By having achievements the players can immerse themselves in accomplishing goals during their session on the server, and possibly feel more fulfilled.
