English needs more words for specific types of friends. I consider the staff at the local burger place friends, but we don't work the same job. There's a lot of flavor of friends, and I think right now any vtubers that work the same job are industry friends. It's nothing to be ashamed of, but it's not too different than school friends. Eventually you end up finding other stuff to do, and when that happens you might not seem as close of friends. Though I've heard people in these situations often have reunions.
