I'm sort of relieved nobody brought up the institute with the Fallout Amazon series. I don't think vtubers like Grimmi would enjoy the concept of printing people. ARK Survival Evolved showcases this. Not to spoil anything for anyone, but in fallout 3 & 4 they show human printing machines, so it's very possible there's been several Lucy's, and that her "Dad" is one of many Dad's floating around out there.
They really saved the show by avoiding the auto doc. I think Henemimi would freak out at the concept of people being disassembled, recycled, and reconstructed Micky 17 style.
The show was a drama. I think the heaviest thing they leaned on was murder, cannibalism, and slavery. They skirted away from the morally questionable scy-fy elements, and I think they were able to keep most audiences happy this way. All in all I'm glad vtubers got to see the fallout show, and talk about it with worrying too much about the implications of the world the show takes place in.
