Don't care enough to doublecheck if she really did say that or not but either way that statement is right. Niji uses women as male accessories most times or debut men and women together in their new groups, then men thrive because of it. It's not even taking a jab at holostars or even saying anything untrue at all, niji is just better for male vtubers because they've always been about having everyone interact and they prop up the men. It's just an objective fact of life. If you join holostars it's either because you wanna snake your way into a Hololive girls' pants or because you think of yourself as such huge hot shit that you sincerely believe YOU'RE gonna be the one to fially make the entire branch pop off somehow. There's no reason to join holostars.

It's purely good advice on time to hiring. Cover hasn't debuted new Stars in a very long time, the JP branch is officially closed forever, ID's probably never getting anything again. Dev_is has been underwhelming to say the least and EN is completely uncertain. At least with the Nijisanji you know they are hiring.

I don't know why you're crying in your cornflakes here, I'm talking about the premise of applying for a job there as a streamer. Cover is showing consistent signs of closing up shop and moving to new directions with their hires in the rare cases they make new ones. They are more focused on maintaining what they have than growing the brand. If they are debuting anyone new soon (which would be the assumption of those who expect new blood all the time), those people are already chosen and being trained. And their success or failure will mean a lot for whether or not you should even try applying for a future gen. Could you imagine what it would be like to apply thinking you were going to be Hololive JP and it turns out you're this whole weird Dev_is thing instead?

And they were even attempting the same Dev_is division that exists in Hololive now. The last JP Stars aren't even part of Holostars. But unlike Dev_is, they abandoned it after a single gen and then one of the more popular ones from that gen got terminated.

No, they definitely were originally treated as a new thing, Holostars was a closed group of people who could have their group song with all members "We Are Holostars" and nobody thought Uproar belonged. Uproar is always the brand, they aren't Gen 4. I wouldn't be surprised if they backtracked on a lot of that like they did with Dev_is in some ways but it was absolutely their original testbed for the same technique they later uses with Hololive JP not getting new gens either and just a new branch instead.
