I'd unironically wager that Niji is a better path towards meritocratic advancement because they actually seem to be willing to try different things. Maybe I'm wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if they or their chubas would be more open to hiring successful clippers to better market Nijisanji EN and it's expanded universe to casuals like myself.
They originally tried it with Nijisanji JP...but nobody in the west knows who any of those chubas are. Animated clips of EN chubas would probably do better than clips of literal who's. And they couldn't possibly be received worse than the cringe, forced, horribly condescending umisea skit that's literally a webtoon for toddlers.
