They were all awkward at best and wiggers at worst. Irys debuted and looked like an ogre; Council debuted and anons pretty much unanimously agreed that NijiEN did better. Then, they hired homos (the better half with horrible models) and people were mass-shitting on Ame and Kronii. All in all, most of them didn't stream much and some of them seemed almost antagonistic towards Hololive.
Then Advent debuted. Advent is great. Now we have Justice, too, and they're pretty good, as well, some of them even won awards and their co-Holos are obsessed with them.
Yet, you're sitting here...talking about how great things "used" to be. When was that? When were these good old days of EN? The two times Gura used a VR headset? The half a dozen times they played a TTRPG awkwardly? Remember that time Mumei said "flower"?
I remember when they played L4D2 and basically didn't speak the entire stream. I remember when Ame called Gura a bitch. I remember when they soft doxxed each other on stream. I remember when Gura tried to play Elden Ring but kept complaining she just didn't get Souls games but imagined she'd be better at Sekiro - and then never played it. I remember when Gura and Fauna played BG3 - it wasn't on stream, of course, but I remember them saying they did it. Ah, what great moments.
