>>100230731Oh there's no doubt in my mind that both of them are as good as gone.
But it's not official, at least not yet. And no matter what happens, the worst that will happen to Aster is that he gets "graduated" like Yugo, Gundou, and Ike - getting rid of him that way means that they don't need to formally acknowledge that they're getting rid of him for sekuhara, and they can't actually officially fire him for sekuhara without admitting that they erred in not having fired him months before False's video (this is also why they haven't fired Luca for his flagrant NDA breaches)
Giving him the Yugo means they don't legally need to explain to anyone *WHY* he's retiring from the company, and the shareholders (the only people Anycolor actually cares about) won't be arsed to look any further into the situation than the face value of what they publish in his graduation notice. All they'll see is that Anycolor has retired yet another vtuber on "good" terms, and will assume by default that "but for Anycolor, it was Tuesday" is the reason for the graduation.
Twisty, on the other hand, is definitely gonna get officially terminated. They don't need to wait until some point in the future for her to post something they deem as fireable - she already did this by leaking proof that Aster is a sex pest, forever robbing the company of their ability to willfully ignore his buggery. And all they need to do to avoid breaking whistleblower protection laws would be to say something like "unauthorized leaking of internal disciplinary matters to external parties" or some such bullshit.
And if they decide to take the "we're not firing her for the leaks, we're only suspending her for the leaks and firing her for something else" approach, she's also already handed them a "something else" on a silver platter - she's made comments on her PL twitter implying that she's suspended, and that management has ghosted her. Those comments could be interpreted as "damaging to the company's reputation" and the company already has a history of punishing livers for making damaging but true statements on social media. They fired Zaion for this, they suspended Selen for this; and they could (and probably will) officially fire Twisty for this.
Again, the sum total of the investors' knowledge of the situation will be the face value of whatever Anycolor publishes in her termination notice, and neither Anycolor themselves nor their shareholders will care one whit about the actual details of the situation or the overseas fans' ability to read between the lines.
...
....or they could just VTA the branch, and fire all hands for "widespread misconduct." They'd rid themselves of the money pit that is the EN branch, and wouldn't need to admit to having protected a sex pest or to having punished a whistleblower.
