Managed to catch it early enough that I still have ~1 1/2 kidneys (though one obviously has limited functionality), I'm so glad my doctor was able to smash me through the fast track so I got the operation a month after we found it.
And thank god for socialized healthcare, because I paid $0 for the operation and subsequent 2 week recovery in the hospital
